Therese Sherman, of Southampton, PA., passed away after a long battle with congestive heart failure. Born in Montreal, Canada, Therese worked at Bell Telephone as a telephone switchboard supervisor before marrying Lou Sherman and settling in Southampton. Therese was an avid reader and loved biographies, novels, political books and National Graphic magazine. She was a talented seamstress; and crafted clothes, sweaters and crocheted blankets for her family. She was an amazing gourmet cook, and was famous for her homemade pies and pastries. Therese was devoted to her family, she worked tirelessly to keep her home spotless, never missed an anniversary or birthday, hosted elegant family dinners and worked several different jobs throughout her life to give the most to her children. She was always informed on political and current events. She was loved by all who knew her for her sweet personality, clever wit and kindness. One of her favorite quotes was - " There are three sides to every story, his side, her side, and the truth!" She will be deeply missed by her husband of 58 years, Lou Sherman, her children Louise and David, grandchildren ,Allison, Oliver and Elliot, her brother Gerry, her two sisters, Jenny and Perry, and all the friends and family whose lives she touched. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday, April 27, 2017, 10 am at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville,PA 19053 ( 215 - 354 - 0085 ), where Therese's life will be celebrated at 11 am. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the charity of one's choice.
