Thomas J. Marsden (“Tom”) passed away on August 31, 2026. Tom was born on July 19, 1949 and lived in the Wissinoming section of Philadelphia. He graduated from Frankford High School in 1967 and briefly attended Peirce Junior College before being drafted into the Army. He served in Vietnam until his discharge in 1971. Tom immediately went to work for the Federal government while attending classes at Holy Family College, graduating with a degree in Business Administration. After his retirement from the government, he decided to work for the Philadelphia School District as a teacher’s aide until 2023.

Tom is survived by his wife of 52 years, Patricia, his daughter, Christine and his three grandsons, Shawn, Shane and Tyler. He is also survived by his brother, Samuel and sister, Ruth. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing and funeral on Tuesday, September 8th 2026, beginning at 11 A.M. until 12 A.M. With services to follow at Kirk and Nice Funeral Home, 333 W. County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA. Thomas will then be laid to rest at Sunset Memorial Park.
