Thomas Murdock , Jr., age 89, of Glenside,PA., (formerly of the Germantown section of Philadelphia, PA ), passed away on November 11,2017, with his family by his side. He is survived by his daughters; Linda Murdock, Mary Hausher, Bertha Campbell and his son Thomas Murdock, III and Norman Brooks :grandchildren, Heather Coelho ( Jorge ), Nicole Campbell, Thomas Hausher, Michael Hausher ( Jillian ), David Campbell, Jr. (Jessica ) and Jessica Murdock :great - grandchildren , Neve Coelho, Brianna Coelho and Michael Hausher, Jr.. Tom is also survived by his nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his wife, Marie Cecelia Murdock, and his sisters, Edith Brett, Edna Weaver and Dorothy Geiger. Tom served in the U.S. Army as a paratrooper, and was a proud veteran. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen for many years. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday, November 17, 2017, 10 am at the Carmel Presbyterian Church, 100 Edgehill Rd., Glenside, PA 19038, where Tom's life will be celebrated at 11 am . Interment to follow in Sunset Memorial Park, Feasterville, PA.
