Tom Major Jr. passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2022 peacefully at St Mary Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family. He was 83 years old. He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Donna Major (Grandinetti); his sister Jane Coniglio; his daughters Eileen Lenegan (Joe), Rachel Cannon (Jason), and his son Gerry Micklada Jr. (Rich); his grandchildren, Joseph Lenegan Jr., Ryan Lenegan, Ryan Cannon, and Christian Cannon; and his great-grandson, Declan Lenegan; and many nieces and nephews; and his brother-in-laws and their spouses.

Tom served in the US Army as a paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division then was honorably discharged. Tom was the proud owner of Tom Major Heating Oil for 23 years. He enjoyed doing projects around the house. He could be found in the summer spending time at his house in Ocean City, NJ and traveling to Florida to his condo in Marco Island. Most importantly, was spending time with his family. Tom was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, always putting the needs of his family before himself.

Friends and family are invited to gather for a viewing on Sunday, April 3, 2022 from 5-7pm at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006, and again on Monday, April 4, 2022 from 10-11am at Assumption BVM Church, 1900 Meadowbrook Road, Feasterville, PA 19053. A Funeral Mass will begin at 11am. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Park, 333 W. County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
