Obituary of Victoria Lokay

Victoria (nee Senkow) Lokay, of Southampton, passed away suddenly Sunday, February 27, 2011 at St. Mary Medical Center. She was 86. She was born in New Hope, Pennsylvania. Vicky spent most of her life in Upper Bucks County, until deciding to move to Southampton over 3 years ago to be closer to her children. She was the beloved wife of the late Alex Lokay and loving mother of Joseph D. Zurybida of Feaasterville, Eugene W. Zurybida (Dawn) of Levittown, Victoria A. Hohnstock (Erv) of Southampton, Virginia E. Edmonds (William) of Holland and Mary Lynn DeBoer of Sturgis, S.D. She was the loving grandmother of 14, and great grandmother of 17. Also surviving are her brother, Walter Senkow (Arlene) of Sellersville, and numverous nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter Susan C. Wieand and her brothers, Steve, Jake, Mike, Sam, and Dan Senkow, her sisters Katherine Milke and Mary Brillman. Since she retired she loved to garden both vegetables and flowers and loved to bird watch, play rummy and to travel with her sister in law and friend Jane Zurybida. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Thursday evening, March 3, 2011 from 7 to 9 PM at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA 19053. Interment private.
