Obituary of Walter Mameniskis

MAMENISKIS, Walter A. Sr., passed away March11, 2014 at Holy Redeemer Hospice. He was 85. Walter was a graduate of St. Joseph's University, a member of the Lithuanian-American Community and past president of the Knights of Lithuania. He had been employed at Arco Chemical for over 30 years and was co-owner of Theta Corporation. He was preceded in death by his wife Violet Mameniskis and is survived by his wife Ausra Zerr, children; Walter A. Mameniskis, Jr. (Andrea) and Algird Mameniskis (Hillary), grandchildren; Grayson, Allaire, Lane, Christian and Karis, step-children; John Zerr (Maria) and Lydia Gavalis (Eric), step-grandchildren; Shane, Siena and Willow, also by nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Saturday March 15 from 10am at St. Andrew Lithuanian Catholic Church 1913 Wallace St. Philadelphia, PA 19130, where a funeral mass will be celebrated at 11am. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, Yeadon
