Werner Carl Linder, 90, of Jenkintown, PA, passed away peacefully on March 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Werner was born in Philadelphia, PA, on December 6, 1935, to the late Hugo and Freda (née Talmon) Linder. He attended Lincoln High School and graduated in 1954. Werner worked as an electrical mechanic for PECO for 43 years, dedicating much of his life to his career and providing for his family.

Before his illness, Werner was an active member of New Life Community Church.  In his free time, Werner enjoyed camping, fishing, and spending time at the beach with his family—activities that created many cherished memories over the years.

Werner is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Linda J. (née Dingler) Linder. He is also survived by his children: Janice (Dale) Brubaker of Dillsburg, PA; Stephen (Isabel) Linder of Perkasie, PA; and Paul (Doreen) Linder of Pawhuska, OK.

In addition to his children, Werner will be greatly missed by his grandchildren: Michael (Gina) Linder, Gary (Kristin) Linder, Michael (Rhianna) Brubaker, Evan (Christine) Brubaker, Nathan Linder, Jared Linder, and Nicholas Linder, as well as five great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, Werner was preceded in death by his grandson, Justin Linder.

A funeral service will be held at Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel on Friday, March 13, 2026, at 11:00 AM, with Pastor Bill Covelens of New Life Community Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Park in Huntingdon Valley, PA. A visitation will be held at the chapel from 10:00 AM until the time of service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to New Life Community Church Missions Fund, 2680 Huntingdon Pike, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006.
