William "Doc" Dougherty, 76, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at his home with his loving family by his side. He is survived by his loving wife of 31 years, Rosemary Dougherty (nee Welsh); his children, Tricia (Rob) Deledda, Lisa (Robert) Hartley, Cristin (Ray) Prescott; his stepchildren, Ann Marie (Perry) Shumsky, Susan (Tim) Juhas, Stephen (Bernadette) Suder Jr.; His siblings, Kathleen (William) Collier, Nancy (Joseph) Benford, and his late brother, Dennis Dougherty; his loving nieces and nephews, Denise (Lou) Carruolo, William Collier, Kim Collier, and Bryan Dougherty; and many loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren. William had a love of cooking. He enjoyed traveling to many places, especially to the Outer Banks. He will always be remembered for his love of music, his dancing, and serenading at family parties. He never missed listening to Sunday with Sinatra and Thursday lunch with his friends. Friends and family are invited to a viewing on Saturday, November 28, 2020, from 9-11am at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 W. County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. A graveside service will follow at 11:30am at Sunset Memorial Park, 333 W. County Line Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA 19006. A celebration of his life will follow at a later date in 2021.
