William R. Edgar, 89, passed away on February 2, 2021 at his home in Feasterville, PA. Born to William and Rose (Munro) on January 8, 1932, he was a lifelong resident of Philadelphia. He is survived by his beloved wife of 63 years, Johanna; devoted father to Robert (Meg) and William (Michelle). Loving grandfather to Daniel, Jessica, Timothy, Nichole and Ashley; great grandfather to TJ; step-grandfather to Amanda and Gryffin. William proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War with honor. He was an accomplished Tool Maker in the manufacturing industry for many years before his retirement. He enjoyed spending time with his family, working outside on his lawn, feeding the birds and squirrels, listening to music and doing various puzzles. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial gathering on Friday, February 12, 2021 from 9:30 - 10:30 am at St. Christopher's Church, 13301 Proctor Rd., Philadelphia, PA 19116. A memorial mass will follow at 10:30 am. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking donations be made to: ALZ.org in his memory.
