William Eugene Friend (2-14-49 to 6-13-25) of Moorestown, NJ passed away peacefully at home on Friday June 13, 2025. He was 76.

Born in Philadelphia, William known to most as "Bill" enlisted in the Air Force in 1969 where he served in Thailand as an Aero Ground Equipment Mechanic. After leaving the Airforce, he worked for Caterpillar and eventually went on to start his own Generator Service Business which has he owned and operated for 40 years until his death.

Bill was a loving, caring, giving father and friend and loved to tell jokes and make people laugh. He loved to scuba dive and spent time in the Islands where he resided part time when not working. Bill was preceded in death by his parents Wilbur and Anna and his sister Patricia.  Bill is survived by his son William, Jr. and his daughter Cynthia

In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to the Parkinson's Foundation at www.parkinson.org. A private viewing will be held at 10:30 am followed by a short service at 11:00 at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery at 333 West County Line Road, Huntington Valley, PA 19006 on Friday June 20, 2025.
