Obituary of William Rose
William F., 94, of Ocala Fl., passed away on May 23, 2013. He was born on March 19,1919 in Philadelphia, PA. to Helen (nee Barber ) and William Rose. As a young man he joined the U.S. Navy and served on the U.S.S. Battleship Wyoming in the North Atlantic Theater during WW II. Prior to enlisting in the Navy, he met his wife of 66 years, Yolanda Di Renzo. After returning from the Navy, he resumed his position with the Pennsylvania Railroad. William and Yolanda traveled extensively for his work with the railroad. In 1979 he retired and moved to Ocala, FL. William ( Bill ) was preceded in death by his loving wife , Yolanda, sister Irma, and brothers David , Earl and Harold. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to gather on Friday, May 31, 2013, from 10 to 11 am at the Kirk & Nice Suburban Chapel, 333 County Line Rd., Feasterville , PA 19053 ( 215 - 354 - 0085 ).
