William J. Tolan, age 70, passed away on November 23, 2023 at his Quakertown home surrounded by his family.  Bill is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Bobbi Ann (Knott) Tolan.  He is also survived by his sister Peggy (late Stephen) Kuritz, and brother, Jim Tolan.  He is also survived by his sister-in-law and brother-in-law Dana (Shawn) McKeown, and brother-in-law Rob (Nyvette) Knott.  He is predeceased by his parents, William and Margaret (Judd) Tolan, and his cherished sister-in-law, Sarah Knott.  He will be missed by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and God-children.

Bill was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, attended George Washington High School, and was a running back for their football team.  Bill participated in many sports and was an avid fan of the Philadelphia sports teams.  In 1988, Bill opened Global Appliance Parts, a retail appliance part store in the Olney section of Philadelphia, serving the community for over 35 years.  He was known and loved by the community he served.  In addition to investing in the community, Bill loved reading and gardening.  He found comfort in reading the Bible and cherished his time on the deck of his home in Quakertown for over 20 years.  Bill was a great father to his fur babies throughout the years: Natasha, Brittany, Lilli, Lizzi, and Cheyanne.  There wasn't a stray dog or cat that he didn't rescue and secure loving homes for.

Friends and family are invited to gather on Friday, December 1st, 2023 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Kirk and Nice Suburban Chapel 333 West Countyline Road, Huntingdon Valley, PA  19006. A memorial service will take place at 1:00 pm, with his burial immediately following at Sunset Memorial Park.
